Happy 10th, New Who!

Wow, I haven't posted anything since November!  Thought I would start the first post of 2015 off with a link to Charles and Jesse's latest podcast!

Join Charles and Jesse as they give you their take on "Rose", the first episode of the modern era!  From Charles:
"I can feel it...the turn of the earth.  The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour.  The entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty-seven thousand miles an hour.  And I can feel it.  We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world.  And, if we let go...That's who I am.  Now forget me, Rose Tyler.  Go home."

We're a bit late for the tenth anniversary, but my good friend and co-host Jesse Jackson and I are FINALLY back with another episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast! And this time, we reverse the polarity back to the 2005 Christopher Eccleston classic, "Rose"!

Exploring the first episode from the modern series of Doctor Who, Jesse and I discuss things like the tenth anniversary of Doctor Who's return, American fans watching the episode in 2005 with crappy internet dial-up, adapting to the Nu Who format, finally having special effects that don't suck, Christopher Eccleston's accent, the greatness of Douglas Adams, the continuity gap since the 1996 TV Movie, the long-awaited return of the Autons, borrowing from "Spearhead from Space," the influence of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Farscape, watching Doctor Who with Jesse's family, Eccleston disappointing Whovians more than once, burping Auton trash bins, Rose's obliviousness to Auton Mickey, Rose being all in Roseworld and treating Mickey and Jackie like crap, the Doctor's grunge phase, the dark days of Doctor Who on the Sci Fi channel, our Reverse the Polarity segment, and more!

You can find them here on iTunes , Stitcher, or, if MP3 downloads are your thing, you can find them here!  Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Twitter!

I know it's a little late, but happy 10th New Who!

Next Stop Everywhere: Episode 8!

Hello everyone!  Once again, I must apologize for posting this late.  I spent most of the week getting ready for Con on the Cob (in Hudson, Ohio) this weekend!

Jesse and Charles are back with episode 8!

"You know, Doctor, I can't tell if you're a genius or just incredibly arrogant."
"Well, on a good day, I'm both."

My good friend Jesse Jackson and I have returned with another episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast!

This time out, we give our thoughts on "Mummy on the Orient Express," the eighth episode from Doctor Who Series Eight, including things like Agatha Christie, the running theme of soldiers and war, sentient computer acronyms, Clara's inconsistent behavior, the series Castle, the polarizing Twelfth Doctor, Queen's song "Don't Stop Me Now," Doctor Who haters hating, our popular Reverse the Polarity segment, listener email, the revival of Twin Peaks, and more!
As always, you can find them on iTunes and  Stitcher. If MP3s  are more your thing, you can download them here. :) Also be sure to give them a Like on Facebook and a follow on Twitter!

"Tell me what you know, Doctor, or else I'll slap you so hard you'll regenerate."

After my weekend hiatus away the show, Jesse Jackson and I together again with another episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast.

This time out, we give our thoughts on "Kill the Moon," the seventh episode from Doctor Who Series Eight, including things like a creepy story that morphs into something else entirely, the Twelfth Doctor's alien detachment, the return of the Doctor's yo-yo, the Doctor's accuracy of piloting the TARDIS, the wonky science of the moon cracking open and being suddenly replaced, Kevin Smith's Superman movie that mercifully never happened, that horribly awkward abortion debate metaphor, why voting with lights doesn't quite work for the planet Earth, our popular Reverse the Polarity segment, teasing our plans for what happens after Series Eight ends, and more!
